The Salzburger Adventsingen returns in 2025 with a new scenic oratorio, 'Der blinde Hirte,' by Hans Köhl and Shane Woodborne. Set against the dramatic Dachstein massif, the performance explores themes of inner vision and spiritual insight through the eyes of a blind shepherd. Over 150 performers, including renowned vocal ensembles, orchestras, and actors, bring this moving story to life with a blend of traditional folk music, classical elements, and impressive staging.
