- Parking: Free on-site car parking is available. 27 parking spaces are available for Blue Badge holders. Drop-off and collection points for minibuses, coaches and taxis are located in the car park, accessible off the A1.
- Accessibility: Due to the natural terrain of the gardens, some paths are unsuitable for wheelchair users and those with restricted mobility. Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Small bags are permitted inside the castle and will be searched. Rucksacks, large bags and buggies are not allowed inside the castle but can be deposited in lockers.
- Pets: Dogs are not permitted in Hillsborough Castle and Gardens unless they are trained assistance dogs.
