Adults are $16, Seniors and Military are $14, Children (3-17) are $8, and children 2 and under are free. Garden members, U of U faculty/staff/students with UCard, and Native American Nation members receive free admission. Half-price admission is available in December, January, and February.
Are there any free admission days?
Yes, there are six free admission days throughout the year thanks to Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts & Parks. Free admission is also offered on Veterans Day for military personnel with valid ID.
Can I bring my pet to the garden?
Only service animals are permitted inside Red Butte Garden and the Amphitheatre. Please do not leave any animals in the parking lot or your vehicle.
Is photography allowed?
Casual personal photography with handheld devices is welcome. However, formal photography sessions, including portraits and weddings, require a permit and reservation.
How can I get to Red Butte Garden using public transportation?
You can use UTA TRAX and bus routes, connecting to the free University of Utah Campus Shuttle (Sunnyside Route) on weekdays. During evenings, weekends, holidays, or breaks, walking from nearby UTA stops is an alternative.
